We found it funny that the guy we house sat for in this lovely neighborhood told us there were only a couple restaurants. As we stumbled across at least a dozen, we could only conclude that he must just walk the same route every day. As visitors, of course, we tried a new route every day and found more restaurants than we could eat at during our one week stay. This little gem has the charm of Condesa and Roma without the price tag or recognition!

Martina restaurant
The unmarked, but definitely known Mari Gold
Sushi Wok and Creperie
Cafe Papagayo – great health food
Pan y Anis: One of the few serving a full menu all day
Giri Cafe

Every street in the neighborhood was lovely, and walking around reminded us of fall as the leaves crunched beneath our feet.
